Independent artist opens opportunity for local indie artists on the move.
I Am Who I Am Music & M.Y.O.B. Ent, announce the official “2015 Buggin Out tour” at The Red Zone in Madison, WI Jan 10, 2015 with Junebug Abeyta. The tour started Dec 5th, 2014 in Detroit, Mi and has moved its way to Wisconsin’s capitol on Regent st. The sole purpose of the tour is for the release of Junebug’s new single “Get Money” on his upcoming album “Buggin Out”.
“Get Money” has gained notoriety and attention with charting the top 50 Urban and top 50 Independent national charts through Music Registry and has become one of the most requested songs on college/satellite radio. “Get Money” has also aired in Madison, WI on 91.7 FM WSUM college radio along with other new tracks. Get Money is available on iTunes, Spotify or any online music site. You can also find Junebug’s mixtape, “ A Hustlaz Testimony ,” on Datpiff.com or junebugabeyta.net .
The 2015 Buggin Out tour has created a platform for independent artists to get there craft heard in other cities through out the nation instead of just at your local open mics. Junebug is traveling the Midwest region until the spring, then moving the tour to the east coast toward New England.

Urban Community Arts Network (UCAN) and Madison Media Institute will present the Level Up music industry conference on Saturday, October 4, 2014.

Madison-based nonprofit, UCAN, and Madison Media Institute announce the third annual Level Up music industry conference. On Saturday, October 4, 2014, Madison Media Institute (2702 Agriculture Dr,) will host this professional development and networking event for aspiring music industry professionals. This year’s event boasts guest presenters Cardo (producer of Meek Mill’s hit song ‘Levels’), J Hatch (founder of iStandard), DJ Pain 1 (platinum producer) and many more.

The event, open to the public of all ages, will include workshops on social media marketing, beatmaking/production, audio engineering, music licensing, and other valuable topics for artists and industry professionals.
